Our Program for April 20th:

BOB PADECKY

CPI AND CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION

Bob Padecky picPD columnist Bob Padecky will speak to us on behalf of the Child Abuse Prevention program of the Child Parent Institute, formerly known as the California Parenting Institute.

Bob Padecky was a national award-winning sports columnist for 26 years with the Press Democrat, covering 22 Super Bowls, 19 World Series and four Olympic Games along with every sport including, gasp, curling. His writing was an outlet and a healing mechanism for him to cope, understand and emerge from an abused childhood, one that he can recall with anguished clarity even to this day. And that he will share with you now, in the hope it will give a moment of pause to someone somewhere who is about the strike a child.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month
