COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

  1. To deliver poinsettia to each apartment in the Vigil Light Senior Housing complex.
  2. Organize and promote a sale of poinsettias to the club membership.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  1. By selling the poinsettias to the club members and business firms for gifts to employees and customers.
  2. By being aware throughout the year of the needs of Seniors and by alerting the Major Project Committee Support Committee and the Board of Directors of these needs and to pass on any leads they hear about.

COMMITTEE’S GOALS: Promote the Employment of People with Disabilities

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Collaborate with Disability Services & Legal Center & Department of Rehabilitation to promote and support the Annual Employers Best Practices Awards Event produced by the Sonoma County Mayors’ Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities (SCMCEPD);
  2. Purchase the trophies (awards for employer, employee, service provider) for the Best Practices event in October;
  3. Represent Rotary on the Planning Committee;
  4. Promote distribution of Nominations Form via our club’s membership;
  5. Attend the Awards Breakfast, October 23, 2013;
  6. President of Rotary is on the agenda, with Exec Director of DSLC and Manager of Department of Rehabilitation;
  7. Purchase event registration for President and Chair.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

Rotary recognized on all flyers, in Commemorative Program Booklet & SCMCEPD Website.

The Planning committee started planning for the October 2013 breakfast event in January 2013.

COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

  1. Enlist volunteers to ring bells for the Salvation Army Christmas effort.
  2. Schedule volunteers for 2 hour shifts at key locations.
  3. Provide warm drinks for the volunteers

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  1. Make an announcement at club meeting, explaining that this is an outside organization looking for manpower to do their project.
  2. Make sure the members are aware that there is Rotary make-up credit for doing this projects.
  3. Provide volunteers with the bells & Rotary aprons.
