DESCRIBE BRIEFLY COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

  1. To recognize the outstanding student leader from the area high schools. Invite the school counselor or representative and the student’s parents as guest of the club. Award a plaque to each student.
  2. Donate library books to local elementary schools.

  1. To create dynamic Interact Clubs at Santa Rosa High and Newman.
  2. To foster closer ties between Rotary and the clubs.
  3. To intertwine Rotary projects and Interact projects.
  4. To channel scholarships and recognition to students in Interact.
  5. To serve the community and build relationships through service.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  1. More active committee involvement in the schools.
  2. Stronger adult leadership and commitments.
  3. Bring students to meetings routinely.
  4. Special Interact day at the Club.
  5. Promote RYLA through the Interacts.

COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

  1. To give a dictionary to all third graders in the Santa Rosa School District.
  2. To help increase the knowledge of these students.
  3. Increase the community’s awareness of Rotary’s Service Above Self.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  1. Obtain a headcount of the number of third graders in each school.
  2. Order the appropriate quantity through the Rotary’s central purchasing agent.
  3. Prepare a schedule of the schools for Rotary volunteers to deliver the books.
  4. Prepare a letter and labels for each book.
  5. Distribute the books to the volunteer leaders.
