COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

1. Support farm youth through purchase of livestock at the Sonoma County Fair.

2. Provide interesting and timely programs to membership related to agriculture.

3. Assist other committees (Social, Red Badge, etc.) who may be interested in a Rotary social activity with a connection to agriculture.

4. Arrange for Rotarians to host 15 FFA & 15 4H members to Rotary luncheon during National FFA and National 4H Week.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

1. Purchase livestock at the county fair and resell at market price.

2. See out agricultural programs to submit to Program Committee.

3. Work with other committee(s) who might be planning an agricultural related social.

4. Secure dates of National FFA and National 4H weeks and advise Secretary/President and Program Committee Chair.

COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

  1. Contact Police and Fire Chiefs to remind them to make selections for the year.
  2. Set program date.
  3. Bring in a Master of Ceremony (City Manager, Council person, Judge) to do the presentation. Have newspaper take picture.
  4. Work with Public Relations committee to develop a news article to obtain publicity of this event.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  1. Telephone contact and meet with the chiefs

GENERAL REMARKS:

This Rotary Salute to our police and fire departments in one of the highlights of each year.
The winners and their departments really appreciate this recognition.

COMMITTEE’S GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

1.Continue the tradition of the Four Way Test.

2.Enhance the awareness of the Four Way Test with club membership.

3.Educate the public about the Four Way Test.

HOW WILL YOUR COMMITTEE ACHIEVE THE GOALS/OBJECTIVES

1.Obtain and distribute flyer from Rotary International.

2. Hand out printed material to new members and guests. (New members receive at Rotary Information and/or introduction into the Club, 4-Way Plaque, coin and wallet card.)(Have Secretary order and charge supplies account)

3.Include knowledge of Four Way Test in contests and recognition of members.

4.Work with Program Committee and the President to have different activities like contests or membership quiz for recognition, as well as one Four Way Test program or announcement.

5.Always insure that the Four Way Test Flag/sign is prominent at meetings.

GENERAL REMARKS:

Secretary will order a supply of 4-Way coins, signs and Plaques that you determine is needed.
