Michael Barrington

Michael Barrington has written a riveting memoir about his experiences as a young missionary in war torn Nigeria.  Malaria, heart wrenching losses and a personal religious struggle are among the traumas in the pages of this must read book.  Michael also provides readers a rare glimpse behind the doors of the Catholic Church during a pivotal time in its history.

Michael has been a Rotarian for 18 eighteen years and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Concord. He is the chair of the International Committee and is responsible generating more than $1 million dollars in Global or Matching grants. He works for The Rotary Foundation as a Technical Advisor and flies all over the world providing monitoring and evaluation of large humanitarian projects. He does the same professionally through his own company MJB Consultants and has worked in more than forty countries.  Academically he considers himself to be ‘over engineered’ having several Masters Degrees and a Ph.D. He speaks six languages
