Paula Cook, Ex. Director CHSC
Veteran homelessness throughout Sonoma County has been reduced by half within the last year, yet 211 remain un-housed. Community Housing Sonoma County (CHSC) was selected by competitive bid to develop tiny homes to meet this need. Veterans Village will provide critical housing for 26 of these veterans in 26 tiny homes, each under 300 square feet. They will also receive rental assistance, case management and clinical support. Many community volunteers have also offered to provide support.
Join us on November 1 to hear Paula Cook, Executive Director of CHSC, tell us more about the Village and how we can provide assistance to these veterans as well.
Ms. Cook has an extensive background in community housing and historic preservation. Since 2009, she has served as a Planning Commissioner and currently co-chairs the NPH Sonoma County Legislative Working Group. She holds a BA in Visual Arts/Arts History from UC San Diego and a MS in Historic Preservation from University of Oregon.
