TRAUMA THERAPIST: RESILIENCY

Lori Carter

The cultivation of resiliency will be the focus of our program on February 21st.  Our speaker Loralee Carter has been a trauma therapist for 20 years and in private practice for 25 years. She worked in Afghanistan for 15 months and for a Native American Tribe for 8 years. She currently practices in Santa Rosa.  Loralee is also a certified consultant in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization reprocessing). She has been a presenter both nationally and internationally.

Lori will provide a short summary of her work in Afghanistan. Her main focus will be about the impact of the fires in Sonoma County. She will include information about resiliency, acute stress, PTSD and neuroplasticity.
