Giro Bello 2023
This year’s Giro Bello was a huge success
The smiles generated by the riders after the ride spoke volumes to the success of the day. The positive comments from the riders about the friendliness of all the rest stop workers and how well the food was presented. The hospitality was said to be excellent.
Many complikments were recived for the beauftiful scenic ride, and the riders loved how well the routes were marked.
For those that contributed financially, a very large thanks to you! It made a difference in the success of this important Rotary fundraiser.

Setup & Cleanup
Kudos to all the volunteers and helpers. The Giro Bello would not have been possible without the awesome, behind the scenes, hard work of all the volunteers that helped setup and clean up.

Redwood Empire Food Bank
Volunteering at the Redwood Empire Food Bank is a great way to give back to the community and is a feeling of accomplishment.
At the end of each session, they report how much was packaged that night. It is amazing to hear numbers in thousands and the tons.
The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa was at the Redwood Empire Food Bank last night bagging carrots. We work there on the second Wednesday of every month. Tonight Douglas Landin, Ted Wilmsen, Richard Lazovick, Robert Pierce, and myself.
The Santa Rosa Rotary club volunteers the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Please join us sometime.

2018 Children’s Holiday Festival
On Saturday, December 15th, our annual Children’s Christmas Festival took place at Spreckels Performing Arts Center. 108 students, plus several adult chaperones, from six elementary schools were hosted by Santa (Tim Fawcett) and his elves (Judy Glenn, Steve Baime, Kris Anderson and Casey Carter); the children saw a performance of the Nutcracker Ballet, and afterward enjoyed punch and cookies (baked by elves Debi Zaft, Andrea Geary, Kim Graves, Kathy Schwartz, Ann Gospe, Kris Anderson, Diane Moresi, Casey Carter, and Judy Glenn), and a gift for every child from Santa. It was lots of fun for everyone!
